But if you're among the lot who wanted to avail the free upgrade to Windows 10 but somehow missed out on it, no need to worry.
That's right. It's still possible to upgrade to Windows 10 (provided you have a valid license of Windows 7 or 8.1). This is because the free upgrade offer has only ended for the general public, but it's still available for customers who use assistive technologies. Not just that, Microsoft has not yet announced when the free Windows 10 upgrade offer will end for the consumers using assistive technologies. So better hurry up. Here's how to do it
How to get Windows 10 for free
Step 1: Go to Microsoft's Windows 10 upgrade for assistive technology users page.
Step 2: Read through the information and FAQs, and click on the 'Upgrade Now' button. This would download an upgrade assistant EXE file. All you have to do is run this file, accept the terms and conditions, and the upgrade process will start right away.
Alternative method: Sign-up as a Windows Insider
If you don't want to use the above mentioned free upgrade method, it's also possible to get Windows 10 by signing up for the Windows Insider program. Just go to this page and hit the 'Get Started' button to enter your Microsoft Account credentials and sign up as a Windows Insider. Once done, you'll be able to download and install the insider/preview builds of Windows 10 on your system.
